Updates
Theme updates applied on purpose rather than automatically, tried on a copy of your theme first. Apps that update on their own are covered by the monthly store check, which compares the live store with the state it launched in.
Monthly Shopify maintenance and support covers theme and app updates, small fixes, store checks, small improvements and a technical point of contact. Each month the live store is re-checked against the state it launched in. It is $149–$499 CAD a month, plus GST where applicable, with the scope agreed in writing.
Is this for me?
A live store keeps changing after launch: apps update, staff edit pages, new products and promotions arrive. Support is someone keeping track of all of it.
Apps change on their own and the theme falls behind, and nobody looks at the store afterwards to see what moved.
A banner, a product-page detail, a broken link: each one too small to hire someone for, so the list only grows.
A section or an app widget stopped working weeks ago, and you hear about it from someone trying to buy.
The person who built the store has moved on, and every question starts from scratch with someone new.
What we do
Theme updates applied on purpose rather than automatically, tried on a copy of your theme first. Apps that update on their own are covered by the monthly store check, which compares the live store with the state it launched in.
The small fixes and changes the month needs, within the scope agreed in writing: a section adjusted, a broken link mended, a detail added to the product page. They are made on a copy and shown to you before they go live. Anything bigger is priced before it starts.
A record of the store is kept from the state it launched in: the theme that is live, the apps that load on the storefront and how heavy the main pages are. Each month the live store is read again from the outside, the way a visitor sees it, and compared with that record. A change nobody planned is looked into and reported to you.
One place to send any question about the store, from a broken button to whether an app is still worth paying for. The team works Monday to Friday, Mountain time, and responds within one business day.

What monthly Shopify support covers, and who handles what it does not.
Not included
Your Shopify plan, paid themes and app subscriptions are billed by Shopify and the app and theme makers, not by us, and they stay in your name. Carrtel is an independent Shopify Partner, not Shopify's own support desk, so questions about your Shopify subscription or bill go to Shopify.
Larger projects sit outside the monthly plan: a redesign, a move from another platform or a custom feature is quoted separately, with its own written scope. Marketing is not part of it either: SEO, Google Ads and social media are run by our sister brand, ClickSync Marketing.

How it runs
A first look at the theme, the apps and the storefront through a Shopify collaborator account, and the state of the store recorded, so every monthly check has something to compare against.
What the plan covers each month, where it sits in the range and how to reach us, written down and agreed before the first month. Support is billed monthly.
The live store re-checked against its recorded state, updates applied, and the month's small jobs done on a copy before they go live.
Work larger than the month's scope, such as a redesign or a custom feature, gets its own written scope and a firm price before it starts.
Pricing
A monthly range, plus GST where applicable. Where a plan sits depends on the size of the store and how much change it needs each month, and the scope is agreed in writing. Your Shopify plan, paid themes and apps are billed by their providers.
