The whole ladder is below: what each engagement costs, what is inside the number, how long it takes, and the rate for anything past it. No number here is held back for a call. If a price rules us out for you, that is a useful thing to learn on a web page rather than in week two.

What does Carrtel charge for Shopify work?
The Store Integrity Scan is free and self-serve. The Tracking & Checkout Integrity Audit is $750 over 5 business days and is credited in full against any project booked within 60 days. Fixed-price projects run $2,400 for a tracking restoration sprint, $7,500 for a Liquid store build, $9,500 for an order-operations integration, and $14,000 for a platform migration. Ongoing work is $1,200/mo for Integrity Watch or $3,400/mo for Order Ops. Anything outside a fixed scope is $135/hr, approved in writing first. All figures USD.

Agency pricing is usually a conversation. We would rather it be a number.
Form, call, proposal a week later. One thing that sequence allows is a price set after the seller has worked out what you can afford. Publishing takes that lever away, which is the point.
It pre-qualifies, in both directions
If $7,500 for a store build is not a number your business can carry this quarter, you find that out here, in ten seconds, for free. That is a better outcome than a scheduled call where we both learn it forty minutes in.
Nobody sits through a call to learn a number
A discovery call should be about your store: what is breaking, what you have already tried, what you need to be true by a date. It should not be the mechanism by which a price is finally revealed.
A published price is a scope we have to hold
Writing $7,500 next to "up to 12 templates and 500 SKUs" means we have committed to what is inside the number before we know anything about you. That is a constraint on us, not on you.
You can compare us without talking to us
Take this table to anyone else you are considering and ask them for the same page. What comes back, and how quickly, tells you something worth knowing.
The honest cost of doing this
A published price cannot flex to what a particular buyer will bear, and it gives anyone else in the running a number to undercut. Both of those are real. We accept them because the alternative is a sales process built on the reader not knowing something we already know, and we would rather not run one of those. Carrtel Solutions is a Shopify Partner. We build stores on Shopify, and we would like the first thing you learn about us to be what it costs.
9 lines. No ranges.
All figures in USD. Every fixed price is fixed for the scope written next to it; work outside that scope is $135/hr, estimated and approved before it starts.
| Engagement | What is inside the price | Timeframe | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Store Integrity ScanSelf-serveDetail | Reads the public half of your storefront and reports what it can see from outside: the scripts your theme is carrying, whether the tag chain finishes on a product page, and leftovers from apps that are no longer installed. No signup, no app install, and the result is not held behind an email address. It cannot see your admin, your webhooks, or your accounting. Those need access, which is the audit. | About 90 seconds | Free |
| Tracking & Checkout Integrity AuditFixed priceDetail | One pass over the whole money path with access: ad click, analytics and pixel events, add to cart, checkout, order created, webhook delivered, fulfilment, and payout and accounting. You get a written report with every finding, the evidence attached to it, and what fixing it would cost. Credited in full against any project booked within 60 days, so on that path it costs nothing. | 5 business days | $750 |
| Tracking Restoration SprintFixed priceDetail | The fix pass for what the audit found: tracking rebuilt on supported event surfaces, checkout customisations moved to supported extension points, order webhooks re-registered and confirmed against real orders, and a before-and-after verification you can read rather than take on trust. Scoped from the audit findings. If the audit turns up work outside a seven-day sprint, we say so in the report rather than in week two. | 7 business days | $2,400 |
| Store Build (Liquid)Fixed priceDetail | Up to 12 templates and 500 SKUs on a Liquid theme, structured the Online Store 2.0 way: JSON templates, sections with schemas, and settings your merchandising team can move without opening a ticket. Conversion tracking wired and verified against real orders before launch. 30-day bug warranty on what we delivered. Templates past 12 or SKUs past 500 are a change order at $135/hr, quoted and approved in writing first. | 3 weeks | $7,500 |
| Platform MigrationFixed priceDetail | A move onto Shopify from WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Wix or Squarespace: up to 2,000 SKUs, a full 301 redirect map for every URL that changes, and a data-integrity reconciliation that counts what left the old platform against what arrived on the new one. SKUs past 2,000, or a source export that needs repair before it can be loaded, are quoted as a change order at $135/hr. | 5 weeks | $14,000 |
| Order Ops BridgeFixed priceDetail | The plumbing between Shopify and an ERP, a 3PL or an accounting system: idempotent ingestion keyed on order id so a replayed webhook cannot double-post, a reconciliation ledger that compares both sides on a schedule, and an exception queue that someone is expected to work. One destination system. A second or third system is its own contract, its own auth and its own failure modes, so it is scoped separately. | 4 weeks | $9,500 |
| Integrity WatchMonthly retainerDetail | Daily checks along the money path, a weekly reconciliation receipt sent to you whether or not anything was wrong, an exception queue we watch, and up to 4 fix-hours per month for the small things that would otherwise wait for a project. Past 4 hours in a month: $135/hr, quoted and approved before the work starts. Hours do not roll over. | Ongoing, monthly | $1,200/mo |
| Order OpsMonthly retainerDetail | Everything in Integrity Watch, plus we maintain the middleware we built, and plus a quarterly API-version upgrade so a scheduled platform deprecation is planned work instead of an outage. Up to 12 fix-hours per month. Past 12 hours in a month: $135/hr, quoted and approved before the work starts. Hours do not roll over. | Ongoing, monthly | $3,400/mo |
| Overage and change ordersHourly | The single rate for anything outside a fixed scope or past a retainer allowance. There is no second rate for senior time, no rush multiplier and no minimum block. Nothing at this rate starts without a written estimate and your approval. We would rather re-scope than run an open meter. | As approved | $135/hr |
Every figure on this page is USD, including the hourly rate and both monthly retainers.
Anything outside a fixed scope is $135/hr. It is estimated in writing and approved by you before the work starts. Nothing appears on an invoice you did not agree to.
4 hours a month on Integrity Watch, 12 on Order Ops. They do not roll over, and past the allowance the rate is $135/hr.
Find your situation. Start where it points.
( 05 paths )
A price list is only useful if you can tell which line is yours. Below are five states a live store can be in, and the line on the table each one points to. Match the description to your store, not to the price you would prefer to pay.
- 01
“Something is broken and I do not know what.”
What this looks like: two systems that used to agree no longer agree, a channel that reports a fraction of what it used to, or a number that went quiet after a theme change or an app install and never came back.
Run the free scan first, then book the audit.
Free, then $750
The scan is 90 seconds and tells you whether the visible half of the store is carrying something it should not. If it comes back clean and your numbers still disagree, the break is in a link the scan cannot reach, which is what the audit is for. The audit fee is credited in full against any project booked within 60 days.
If the audit finds fixable damage, the Tracking Restoration Sprint is $2,400 over 7 business days.
Run the free scan - 02
“I am moving platforms.”
You are on WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Wix or Squarespace and the platform has become the thing you manage instead of the thing you sell on.
Platform Migration.
$14,000
Five weeks, up to 2,000 SKUs, a full 301 redirect map for every URL that changes, and a reconciliation that counts what left the old platform against what arrived. The audit is not the first step here, because there is nothing on Shopify to audit yet. The risk on a migration lives in the source export, so that is what we look at before quoting anything beyond the published number.
A migration and a build are separate engagements. If you want a new storefront as well as a new platform, that is the migration plus the $7,500 build, not one blended number.
How a migration runs - 03
“My systems disagree with each other.”
Shopify says one thing, the ERP or the 3PL or the accounting system says another, and someone on your team has a spreadsheet whose whole job is to reconcile the two by hand every week.
Order Ops Bridge.
$9,500
Four weeks to replace the manual reconciliation with idempotent ingestion keyed on order id, a ledger that compares both sides on a schedule, and an exception queue for the cases that genuinely need a human. One destination system is inside the price.
If the disagreement is about attribution and tracking rather than orders and inventory, you are on path 01 instead. The audit tells the two apart.
What the bridge does - 04
“I need the storefront itself built.”
The store is live and selling, and the theme has reached the point where every seasonal change is a developer ticket, or a purchased theme needs to become your store rather than a demo with your logo on it.
Store Build (Liquid).
$7,500
Three weeks, up to 12 templates and 500 SKUs, sections written with schemas so the next change is a settings change, tracking verified against real orders before launch, and a 30-day bug warranty on what we delivered.
Catalog or template count past those limits does not void the price. It becomes a change order at $135/hr, quoted before it starts.
What we build - 05
“It works, and I want someone watching it.”
Nothing is on fire. You have been burned before by something that broke quietly and was found weeks later, and you would rather pay to be told early than pay to be surprised.
Integrity Watch, after an audit.
$1,200/mo
Daily checks, a weekly reconciliation receipt sent whether or not anything was wrong, and up to 4 fix-hours a month. We will not start a watch retainer without an audit first, because the checks are only worth anything when they are tuned to your actual chain rather than a generic one.
If we also maintain middleware for you, that is the Order Ops retainer at $3,400/mo with 12 fix-hours and a quarterly API-version upgrade.
What gets checked
If none of the five is yours, say so in an email and describe the situation in your own words. If the answer is that we are the wrong people, that is a fine answer and you will get it quickly, in writing, without a call first.
What we stand behind, and what we do not
A guarantee is only worth reading with its exclusions attached. Both halves are on this page, in the same size type.
The promise
30-day bug warranty
Defects in work we delivered are fixed at no charge for 30 days after delivery. This covers project work.
25% credit on a missed date
If we miss an agreed delivery date, you get a 25% credit toward the next engagement. It is a credit, not a cash refund, and we say so here rather than in a footnote.
Three projects at a time
We run a maximum of three concurrent projects. That limit is the reason the dates on this page are meetable at all.
The exclusions
- Defects inside third-party apps. We can identify one and route it to the vendor, but we cannot fix code we do not own.
- Delays on your side: access, approvals, content, or a decision we are waiting on. The clock on a delivery date pauses when it is with you.
- Platform incidents. When Shopify or a payment provider has an outage, that is not ours to control, so we do not price as though it is.
The 25% credit is a credit toward the next engagement. It is not a cash refund, and it is not described as one anywhere on this site.
What changes the price upward
Five things move a quote past the published number. All five are knowable in advance, which is why they are listed here rather than discovered by you halfway through an invoice.
Catalog size
The build includes 500 SKUs and the migration includes 2,000. Past those, the extra work is not linear in the way people expect: the cost is not "more products", it is more variant structures, more option names that mean the same thing, and more images to place.
Ask yourself: how many distinct variant patterns does the catalog actually have, not how many rows are in the export.
Number of templates
Twelve templates is a full storefront for most stores: home, collection, product, cart, search, a few content pages, and the account surfaces. A bespoke landing page per campaign, or a second product template for a different merchandising model, is real work each time.
Count the layouts that genuinely differ, not the pages. Forty pages on one template is one template.
Number of integrations
The Order Ops Bridge price covers one destination system. Each additional system brings its own authentication, its own idempotency rules, its own rate limits and its own way of being wrong, so it is scoped on its own rather than folded in.
Two systems is not twice one system, but it is not one and a bit either. We will quote it, not average it.
Data quality on the source platform
This is the one that moves a migration price most, and it is almost never visible before we look. Duplicate SKUs, HTML pasted into description fields, options named three different ways, prices carried as text, images referenced but missing, and a redirect history nobody has ever mapped.
The export is the evidence. We read it before quoting anything past the published number, so the surprise happens before the contract rather than in week three.
What the theme is already carrying
A theme that has taken five years of app installs and removals holds scripts from apps that are gone, snippets nobody claims, and edits made directly to a vendor theme so it can no longer be updated. Untangling that is work before any new work starts.
The free scan sees a useful share of this from outside, which is why it is the first thing we ask you to run.
How the extra is handled
Everything above the fixed scope is quoted as a change order at $135/hr, written down with an estimate, and approved by you before any of it starts. If the extra work is large enough that an hourly meter stops being sensible, we re-scope it as its own fixed-price engagement instead. An open meter is bad for you and it is bad for us.
What is not in any of these numbers
( Scope )
Not included in a price
- Brand identity design, logo work, and art direction
- Copywriting and product descriptions
- Product photography and retouching
- Paid media management and SEO retainers
- Third-party app subscriptions and theme licences
- Your Shopify subscription itself
We can point you at people who do the first three well. We will not mark their invoice up and pass it through as ours.
Not sold at any price
- Shopify Plus enterprise bids
- Greenfield headless rebuilds for small merchants
- Paid media or SEO retainers
- Brand identity design
- Dropshipping store spin-ups
We serve live Shopify stores on a Liquid theme, past product-market fit, without an in-house developer. The list above is what falls outside that, and saying no to it is why the fixed prices hold.
No case studies. Here is what to check.
Carrtel has no published client results, so there is no percentage on this page and no logo row at the bottom of it. What we put in their place is checkable without talking to us: this price list, the scope inside every number, the rate past it, the guarantee with its exclusions, and a free scan that runs against your own store before you have paid anything.
The full list of things you can verifyQuestions about the pricing
( 10 )
- Why publish prices when almost nobody at this level does?
- Because the alternative wastes everyone. Agency pricing is usually a conversation: a form, a call, a proposal a week later. One thing that process allows is for the number to be set after the seller has learned what you can afford. Publishing removes that option. It pre-qualifies in both directions, it means nobody sits through a discovery call to learn a figure, and it commits us to a scope before we know anything about you. The cost to us is that some readers leave on this page. We would rather they leave here than in week two.
- Are these fixed prices or estimates?
- The fixed-price engagements are fixed for the scope printed next to them. $7,500 covers up to 12 templates and 500 SKUs; $14,000 covers up to 2,000 SKUs with a full 301 map; $9,500 covers one destination system. Work outside those boundaries is a change order at $135/hr, estimated in writing and approved by you before it starts. Nothing gets added to an invoice that you did not agree to first.
- What currency are the prices in?
- US dollars. Every figure on this page is USD, including the hourly rate and both monthly retainers.
- Is the audit fee really credited?
- Yes. The $750 Tracking & Checkout Integrity Audit is credited in full against any project booked within 60 days of the report being delivered. If you go on to a sprint, a build, a migration or a bridge inside that window, the audit costs you nothing. If you take the report and fix things yourself, or take it to someone else, that is a legitimate outcome and the report is yours either way.
- What counts as a fix-hour, and what happens if I run out?
- A fix-hour is the small work that would otherwise wait for a project: a tag that stopped firing, a webhook that needs re-registering, a mapping that changed when a supplier changed a field. Integrity Watch includes up to 4 hours a month and Order Ops includes up to 12. Hours do not roll over. Past the allowance the rate is $135/hr, quoted and approved before the work starts. If a month keeps running over, that is a signal the work is a project rather than a fix, and we will say so instead of quietly billing hours.
- What is the guarantee, exactly?
- A 30-day bug-fix warranty on project work: defects in what we delivered are fixed at no charge for 30 days after delivery. If we miss an agreed delivery date, you get a 25% credit toward the next engagement, which is a credit and not a cash refund. We run a maximum of three concurrent projects, which is why the dates are meetable. The warranty and the credit exclude defects inside third-party apps, delays on your side such as access, approvals, content or decisions, and platform incidents.
- Do I have to buy the audit before a retainer?
- For Integrity Watch, yes. Daily checks are only worth paying for when they are tuned to your actual money path, your apps, your theme and your integrations, and the audit is where we learn all of that. Buying a watch retainer without one would mean paying us to run generic checks against a store we have never opened.
- What is not included in any of these prices?
- Brand identity design, copywriting and product descriptions, product photography, paid media management, SEO retainers, third-party app subscriptions and theme licences, and your Shopify subscription. We also do not sell Shopify Plus enterprise bids, greenfield headless rebuilds for small merchants, or dropshipping store spin-ups at any price.
- Can I start smaller than any of these numbers?
- The free Store Integrity Scan is the smallest step and it is genuinely free: no signup, no app install, no email gate on the result. It reads the public half of your storefront in about 90 seconds. If it comes back clean, you have spent nothing and learned something real. If it does not, you now know which conversation to have next.
- Do you have case studies that justify these prices?
- No, because there are none. Carrtel has no published client results and we are not going to invent any. What you can check instead is on this page: every price we charge, the scope inside each one, the rate past it, the guarantee with its exclusions attached, and a free scan that runs against your own store before you pay anything. That is what we ask you to judge us on until there is something real to show.

You have the numbers. Now get one about your store.
The Store Integrity Scan reads the public half of your storefront in about 90 seconds, with no signup and no app install. It will not tell you everything. It will tell you whether the theme is carrying scripts from apps you no longer have, and that is usually enough to know which line of the table above is yours.
