A store can look perfectly healthy while the money path underneath it is not. This scan reads your storefront the way a shopper's browser does and reports what it actually finds — with your own numbers attached to every line, so you can check us.

Exactly what the scan reads

You are about to point a stranger's tool at your storefront. Here is the whole of what it touches — all of it public, none of it behind a login.

Your public storefront HTML

The same page a shopper receives. We read which scripts and apps are present, whether structured data is emitted, and how heavy the document is.

Your public product feed

Shopify publishes /products.json on every store. We sample it to measure catalog size, price range, image coverage and how recently you published.

Your public sitemaps

To count the real number of products, which a sampled feed cannot tell you on a large catalog.

One live product page

Reviews, schema and SMS capture live on the product template, not the homepage. Scanning only a homepage produces confident, wrong answers — so we check a real product page too.

We identify ourselves in the request so you can find us in your server logs, we make one pass rather than crawling, and we cache the result for a few hours so repeated scans do not add load to your store. Nothing is written, changed, or ordered.

Questions

Do I need to install an app or give you access?
No. The scan reads only what your storefront already serves publicly to any browser — the same bytes a shopper gets. There is no login, no app install, no permission request, and nothing is changed on your store.
Is the result gated behind my email address?
No. The findings appear on screen whether or not you leave an address. You can give us one afterwards if you would like the written version sent to you, and that is the only reason we ask.
How accurate is it?
Every finding quotes a number or a name we actually observed on your store, so you can check each one yourself. It reads what is visible from outside: it cannot see your orders, your ad spend, or anything behind your admin login. Deeper problems in the order and payment path need the paid audit, which does require scoped access.
What if my store is not on Shopify?
The scan will tell you that and stop. The catalog and theme checks read Shopify-specific public endpoints, so they do not apply elsewhere. If you are considering moving to Shopify, a migration assessment is the more useful starting point.
What happens after the scan?
Nothing automatic. If you want the findings turned into fixes, the next step is the paid Tracking and Checkout Integrity Audit at $750, which is credited in full against any project you book within 60 days. If you just want the free findings, take them and go — that is a fine outcome.
